A creative response to Crypsis by Olivia Kan-Sperling
I imagine a days-long Easter egg hunt taking place across an infinitely shifting series of deviously landscaped topographies and habitats: hotels, racehorse stables, tundra—ending in the Vatican or Stonehenge. The game would be played by the most clever girl from every city. (It is true that girls collect small objects, especially ones that might contain other, smaller objects.) Points would be given in quantitative (number of eggs, speed) and qualitative categories: resplendency of ribbons on basket, nimbleness of non-linear searching path, discovery wonder produced in face, sleight-of-hand in snatching.
